On August 15–16, 2025, the Institute for Biological Dentistry hosted the Initial Entry Training at the Washington Duke Inn in Durham, NC, bringing together dentists, lecturers, and holistic health professionals for two days of education and connection. The training offered 16 hours of Continuing Education and focused on equipping general dentists with the knowledge and tools to integrate biological and holistic dentistry into their practices.

Key Highlights from the Training

1. Advancing Standards of Care

  • Dr. Griffin Cole led sessions on Safe Amalgam Removal, emphasizing protocols that protect both patients and practitioners from mercury exposure.
  • He also presented on Fluoride Risks and Ozone Therapy, challenging traditional practices while showcasing minimally invasive, biologically safe alternatives.

2. Innovations in Materials & Healing

  • Dr. Sammy Noumbissi introduced attendees to the biological advantages of zirconia ceramic implants, supported by 15 years of clinical experience.
  • Dr. Richard Miron explored the regenerative potential of Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF), with cutting-edge techniques like horizontal centrifugation to accelerate healing.

3. Addressing Hidden Risks

  • Dr. Eugene Sambataro shed light on Dental Cavitations, their role in chronic illness, and diagnostic challenges.
